Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: nw Wind Stength: 15/20 Surf / Sea State: river chop Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: cloudy Max Speed: 26.06 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 11.21 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
Not sure what to do as wind w to nw which is off at Felixstowe , found out
from Mark Davies that it was cross shore force 5 at Levington with a 12:30
high so quickly went over there.Mark was out at the far end of the marina
with his 105 hypersonic and 5.7 but Steve Carter and I parked at the marina
entrance end and I went for 7.5 on my big freeride. The wind line was abit
offshore but when I hit it there was plenty of wind and I reached off broad
to the bay to play with the many yachts od the water :) The wind was up and
down and the water abit bumpy but thats river sailing for you !!! there was
some lovely flat water to gybe on sadly though you sailed out of the wind
!!!!! Still it was a bonus to be out on a shortboard and I enjoyed an hour
or so out with Steve C,Andy J,Mark D and Phillip T :) even if the weather
was cloudy and cool !!!! The wind dropped at high water so we all packed up
not wanting to fight wind with tide.
